With all the comments to 'Break up the Amazon monopoly," progressives also will have their eyes on the world's most richest and valuable corporation. In general, the Left doesn't like the tech world, and shedding intel for ARM just looks like another nail in Apple's monopolistic approach.
These people will not evaluate worldwide numbers, but just find a sympathetic judge to begin the process. I can clearly remember what the outcome of the lawsuit was when Apple's iBooks versos Kindle went to trial. Had numbers didn't mean squat.

Just a thought (and I'm waiting for ARM to be in the next 27"iMac I buy!)

DOJ files antitrust lawsuit against Google's search business
I'm severely handicapped, and the 27"iMac is my "window on the world." I'm on the computer 8-10 hours a day, and I've tried all the major search engines, but have ended up using Google.
Why? Because it can dig deeper into the information i need on drugs, doctors, tests, health plans, Home Care alternatives, eyesight, hearing, beds, toilet seats - - you name it.
Yes, other search engines can find the tip of the iceberg, but Google lets you find out what is under the water level. -

DOJ formalizes request for encryption back-doors
Look what Comes and Mueller did, using a spurious Dossier as "evidence" to expand their investigations. What makes anyone believe the government will not use similar tactics to head for the back doors on mobile devices and desktop computers?
The "back door" has been the goal of the FBI and Secret Service for at least two decades. Now, they're calling in the bigger guns, along with forcing the NSA to reveal intercepts from both friendly and and enemy, even before really qualified intelligence analysts have had a chance to evaluate the validity and reliability of the sources. The FBI and Secret service are "Law EnforcemenT trained. They are not really trained in the Intelligence business.
Unfortunately, neither the FBI or Secret Service can keep secrets. Giving them a "back door" is akin to giving them power to tap your phones and read your First Class mail without you knowing they've done it. -
Intel hacked, first wave of stolen chip data released in 20GB dump
Beats said:"All I ask for is proof. I have yet to see the NSA's hands in Apple devices. Android opened it's legs for the NSA, while the government in general hates Apple for being close."
If the NSA has, in fact, done this, neither you nor I will ever know about it, much less have proof. Tid bits might leak out, but the Agency is remarkably silent on what it's really doing. It has to be.

Phil Schiller says App Store fostered competition, ahead of antitrust testimony
Going back to the origin of the comments, this is a House Committee, and with Bezos and Zuckerman present, and probably under oath, it can turn into political theater.
