Apple Car is a matter of 'when, not if' claims analyst
In case anyone is an idiot like me and doesn't know what the hell wet bulb temperature means, here's some relevant info from Wikipedia:"The wet-bulb temperature is the lowest temperature that can be reached under current ambient conditions by the evaporation of water only.Even heat-adapted people cannot carry out normal outdoor activities past a wet-bulb temperature of 32 °C (90 °F), equivalent to a heat index of 55 °C (130 °F). The theoretical limit to human survival for more than a few hours in the shade, even with unlimited water, is a wet-bulb temperature of 35 °C (95 °F) – equivalent to a heat index of 70 °C (160 °F)." -

Apple Fitness+ review: Two years later, barely treads water
Graeme000 said:comcastsucks said:I just bought an indoor bike so I was getting ready to sign up for Fitness+ again, but this review may have changed my mind with just one sentence: "You cannot filter workouts by exercise equipment". I want to be able to filter "20 minute bike workouts". I have zero interest in scrolling through waves of screens to find what I'm looking for. If anyone knows different, I'd love to know.
I disagree with a lot of this article. Like someone else said, TikTok is a joke and I would never conisider a Peloton. Apple Fitness+ is definitely a nice middle ground. -

EU law would let iCloud users transfer their data to rival platforms
I'm confused by what data they're talking about. In the cloud I have calendar files (which already has a standard), contacts (has a standard), photos are photos, files are files.
I guess notes and reminders don't really have a standard. Mail accounts can be switched around, but I guess a local mailbox on your computer could be an issue. Although mbox files seem to be common.
Do they just want a slick system for doing this? iPhones have import from Android, and many Android phones have import from iPhone.
It just feels like the answer already exists. Does the government want to come up with a whole new standard for calendars and such?
