The Toyota Supra is actually a re-branded BMW Z4.  The engine and all electronics are made by BMW.

Wireless charging is kind of ridiculous in a car.  Go over a bump and the phone moves slightly and no more wireless charging.  It is not that hard to plug it in, and the audio quality on a wired connection is far better than Bluetooth.

You must have a pretty aged iPhone. The current line use MagSafe tech to magnet down the phone to the surface. No movement whatsoever.
MagSafe doesn't matter. The BMW charger is a Qi charger, no magnets to hold anything in place, just a spring-loaded thing to clamp your phone down, and since it's a one-size=fits-all "solution" that means the charging coils may or my not line up worth a damn. EVERYBODY hates the BMW charger including me - we commonly refer to it as the "phone warmer" because it barely charges but heats the hell out of your phone. BMW really needs to offer a MagSafe solution, but for some reason, they don't.
