  • Beats Studio Buds+ are Apple's worst-kept secret and arrive on May 17

I still don't get why Apple bought Beats, why!?
Mostly because it allowed them to release Apple Music.

  • iPhone 14 could cost $100 more than iPhone 13

Shall we bet on how much time passes between Samsung mocking Apple for the increase and Samsung subsequently raising their prices by $100?

  • It's time for Apple to revisit these iconic products

I hate the MM. Even when it is charged and connected, it’s a twitchy, finicky POS. Another in a long line of Apple POS mice.
Never understood all the hate. It’s simply the best mouse I’ve ever used, supporting smooth scrolling side-to-side, plus gestures without the need for a bunch of cumbersome and unsightly buttons.

I switched from the battery powered version to the rechargeable version when it came out and use it every day. I have another that lives in my backpack for when I travel. Never once have I ever been inconvenienced by the charging port living on its underside.

To each their own, but I love the MM, just as I liked the Mighty Mouse before it.

  • The best apps for Apple CarPlay

Good or bad, a Sirius XM app is redundant. Any car with Apple CarPlay also has Sirius built into the car's radio (The antenna is in the shark fin on your roof). And it works just like the AM/FM channels.

The only reason to use any of the other apps is to use Siri and keep your eyes on the road, instead of fiddling with a dash screen in traffic. You DO use Siri, right?
Not true. My wife’s previous company car (2019 RAV4) had CarPlay but not a XM tuner. The only way to tune in to XM was through her phone.

Anti Business and Anti American liar in chief.

I honestly thought I was getting moderate Scranton Joe and he wasn’t the typical new  Democrat when I voted for him 2 years ago , I thought I was getting Bill Clinton again but we are getting a socialist .

Let’s let the Chinese spy balloon fly over USA for week letting it do god knows what but let’s go after our own great American companies with help of Europeans.

Ever seen anyone do a self knee cap?

Funny stuff, particularly the "socialist" thing. I guess, though, once you get so far to the right, even the center seems like a "far left" position from that perspective.
    Nope
Yep. Sadly, a significant percentage of Americans really need to look up the actual meaning of the word socialism. Likewise, most of those same people also need to look up the definition of communism.

It's very sad how far America has fallen in the past 30-40 years.

Twenty bucks for 4K while other streaming services include it in their basic plan. What a ripoff.

$20.00 for 4k and 4 streams that they don't want to share... it's a joke.

Did you not understand the consequences of sharing passwords with others that aren't authorized or sending copies of software not licensed to others?

This sort of thing often punishes legal users while doing little to prevent illegal behavior. Back when I used Microsoft Office, its activation system frequently told me my code had been used too many times despite the fact that I’d had to re-image my hard drive and reinstall. It was a nightmare having to call in and wait for an actual human to reset my license, while pirates are easily able to download cracked versions of the software.

My daughter is off at college now and my son leaves after this summer. Are they no longer going to be able to use out Netflix account even though they’re still eligible for all the other family benefits that are out there (while, again, pirates can easily download Netflix content to circumvent what should otherwise be allowed)?

  • Jeep joins support for Apple CarPlay with 2017 Compass

Shame this vehicle is a festering pile of poop. Really, SUVs in general are ridiculous vehicles brilliantly marketed to people who (generally speaking) have more money than brains, but I rented a Compass once a few years ago (it was, quite literally, the only thing they had left) and it was awful. The thing was really cheaply made (the entire interior was made with cheap-feeling plastic parts) and it was so dramatically underpowered that it was painfully slow trekking up the gradual incline into the mountains of North Carolina.

At least now, thanks to Apple, it has one positive selling point :)

  • Skype cloud shift will require OS X Yosemite or iOS 8 for full support on Apple devices

    What's Skype?

No really. I had Skype for years and it was okay, but I switched several months ago to Ooma and am very pleased with the switch. The lack of a Mac client is a drawback, and the iOS client isn't quite as good (yet), but the service at home is sooooooo much better.
