Home automation standard Matter one step closer to use
Weird, the latest iOS has made my HomeKit thread devices much more robust over thread and now none, including nanoleaf, fall back to bluetooth as was the case intermittently before. Just showed that Apple has issues in their HomeKit networking prior to Matter. Hope some of this gets fixed with the iOS 16.1 "HomeKit network architecture" updates talked about at wwDC. -
Apple CEO Tim Cook receives 255,000 shares of Apple stock
Depends on his vesting schedule how long he can delay payment. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/tax/09/restricted-stock-tax.asp The option to donate as of yet untaxed shares that have increased in value on paper also offers more tax advantages than donating already taxed salary. Can structure/choose to take less actual monetary salary in the years of RSU vesting decreasing other taxable income for that year. No such luck for anyone with a w2 income. -
Hands on with Apple's new HomeKit architecture in iOS 16.2
mobird said:How do you get the update to 16.2 for the original HomePods? I have updated all devices that interact with the Home app to the latest Beta version ie. 16.2 but when I attempt to initiate the "Home Upgrade" I receive the message that the HomePods need to be updated to 16.2 before I can initiate the "Home Upgrade"
Anyone know how to resolve this issue? -

Racist are on both sides of this issue. Is this indicative of all the supporters of Hillary from the coastal cities? I think not and would hope not. https://vid.me/PQBm
Trump like Bernie tapped into the anti-establishment dislike for big city dominated politics that have overun washington for the last 30 years. So glad that the Bushes, Clintons and now Obamas have been marginalized. Both sides need to move on.
