  • Quote: Originally posted by coolmac I forgot to, is it worth a lengthy delay to include it? Do you have any Bluetooth devices now or plan to get any in the near future? The longer you wait to get a Bluetooth adapter for the G5 the less it wil…

  • Quote: Originally posted by Nedrick I noticed that the DP 1.42 was as good if not better than the 1.6 in most of the tests. Would that justify buying a 1.42 over a new 1.6 (unless the 1.6 is ALOT cheaper)? Thoughts? I would say yes if you …

  • Quote: Originally posted by rok well, considering the fact that the dual g5 is, by all accounts and purposes, the best price/punch ratio of any apple computer currently shipping, shouldn't you be HAPPY that colleges would be using those tax dolla…

  • This is a big mistake and a waste of taxpayers money. The university should have waited for the 2.5 GHz dual G5 that might be available in a few months for maybe a lower price.
  • Quote: Originally posted by Big Mac I'm finally confident enough to make the assertion that the DP 2GHz is the only configuration of the G5 worth buying. I totally agree assuming you don't need to run VirtualPC.

  • The Las Vegas Apple store now has a G5 on display. It is a 1.8 gig model I was told.
