Amazon shows the other models as well. All with 512MB of RAM and dual-layer SuperDrives, as predicted. Looks like the dual-2.0 is the same price as the current dual-1.8, but with twice the RAM and HDD. I wonder if they will re-introduce a single-…

Not to bend you all into further contortions, or add to Apple's bandwidth problems from everyone hitting "refresh" 800 times a day, but there's no law that says "quiet" product releases have to come on a Tuesday. The last Power Mac update was on a W…

Actually, on further reflection, forget what I said about the eMac. I don't think we'd see it at an Expo if it got quad-G6 processors and traveled through time. Has Steve ever even uttered its name in public? I have a theory that he hates the eMac…

I think a Tiger ship date will be announced; maybe March 21, the anniversary of 10.0? Everyone buying a Mac after the expo gets the upgrade for free* (*$20 shipping and handling). I HOPE there's a bump in storage for the iPod mini (because I wan…

I got an e-mail from a reseller early this morning announcing the new iBooks and Power Mac. Wonder if Apple will be pissed that they jumped the gun?

LA Computer Company has them for $78. I ordered two for some older machines. They only shipped one but I called them and they apologized and said they'd ship another one. Assuming it arrives, I have no complaints about their service.
