Thanks for the help HHP, NetMage, and hardcle. That clears things up a lot.

Please forgive my ignorance on the locked vs. unlocked. I've been on a 2 year rotation since the iPhone 3 with AT&T and recently changed to their family plan/shared data or whatever they call it. - I believe when you upgrade your phone on the N…

I'm using a 5 now, but I miss the size of the 4. The 5 in my jeans pocket pokes me when I sit down. If the rumors are true on the 6, I may have bought my last iPhone, at least until Apple figures out that different people want different size phone…

Lack of gapless playback option is my biggest concern. That's a step way back in terms of functionality.

mstone and solipsism, Thanks for the help and the links--good to know! I just bought a 3g model and didn't think it had a GPS chip in it.

Dropping Rosetta makes me a little nervous. Is there currently an easy way to figure out what software I have on my Macs that needs Rosetta?

So it could actually end up costing more. I purchased my family pack from MegaWatts in January for $76.49. If we're only allowed to buy it from Apple, I hope they drop the price.

My family pack expires next month, but I bought a renewal a couple of months back when I saw a good price. Might as well just renew it now regardless.

You mean this bundle? The one where it clearly shows the Windows-only icon next to "Left 4 Dead"? And the bundle itself only has the Windows icon in the shopping cart. So unless they drastically changed the way they display bundles, or if you took s…

I bought the bundle of Left 4 Dead 2 and Left 4 Dead. Problem is, Left 4 Dead is PC only and is not supported on the Mac platform. It would have been nice if they told me this BEFORE I finalized the online purchase. When I contacted their suppo…

I hope they never kill it. I'd buy a 1TB model if they made it. I could take my whole library in ALAC. Add a nice portable amp (such as a Ray Samuels Hornet) and a good set of headphones (such as Sennheiser HD650 or AKG 701) and you'd have an ama…

Called my local Apple Store today to see how long orders were taking, and they had some in stock!

My local AT&T store just told me they have a 2 -3 week wait.
