The real question would be: is Apple going to announce actual machines or the intention of using the 970? Apple in the past has at least implied what was coming like the inclusion of Firewire in all machines and the intention of using the G4. I th…

I am downloading it now. Can't wait. I like the fact that it is not symmetrical. The speakers look like hard boiled eggs though. [ 03-05-2003: Message edited by: Kurt ]

I am not an expert on Ram but isn't that rather slow DDRAM? Not the really fast stuff for its frontside bus. Maybe someone else could explain what this memory is. Also I could not see the crystal for the processor chip(s?). Could it be under t…

I know this probably isn't correct but, what is 4x the estimated spec and fp numbers of the 970? They should be pretty high. Is this what moki has been talking about?

That is truly a GREAT job. Unfortunately, you won't get hired by Apple. You have already violated employee rule #1- you posted on a rumor site.

I would love to hear Moki weigh in on this. He was the one who hinted there might be more beyond the 970 already in the works.

Since there are very few iMacs in the channel, what will Apple sell in the next 6-8 weeks if they are going to wait that long with new iMacs. Those and iPods need to be updated soon. How long can you keep going without having some of your most…

The iMac is way overdue for an upgrade. There is very little inventory around. I am surprised that upgraded models were not announced along with the Powermacs. Besides, I am waiting to buy one which makes me very impatient.

It is amazing how expensive the iMacs are now relative to the Powermacs. I can't image too many people buying one now until they are updated. I wonder why Apple doesn't lower the price of the iMacs to clear out inventory. It seems ridiculous to…
