If Apple is fixing prebinding in the latest build as reported by fryke's site, I hope it addresses an irritating problem with applications (not Apple's system files). Although most installers report that they are "optimizing" after installing (actua…

No, if you don't have the setup, you don't test. I'm glad you've tested in the past for Apple. They could use you today (10.2.8, 10.3 to name two). I too have tested going back about 15 years, though not for Apple. Apple could use more testing but n…

Another day, another no show. This is getting old.

The first build was released on 1/29 and had definite issues. The last two builds have had no known issues, or at least no issues that were disclosed when they were released. It sure seems that they are taking a very long time with this update, and …

Someone should tell Apple that system updates without any known issues do not, unlike wine, improve with age. Educated guesses and questions: Apple likes to release things on Tuesday. Tomorrow? Apple always releases updates about 1 PM PST. To…

On the theory that Apple will do exactly the opposite of what I predict, I'll say that no way will we see 10.3.3 today.
-
"It won't happen this week." If this is true, does anyone have a clue what the problem is? The last I heard, there were no outstanding issues with the last build, and that was over a week ago.

Sound of limb cracking...and breaking.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that Apple will release 10.3.3 tomorrow, March 3rd, between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM PST (3:30 - 4:30 EST).

Got a reply e-mail from Fryke about 10.3.3. Size is about 70MB (67.8MB?) and it says it needs 274MB when expanded. Fryke says though that after installation, it doesn't take all of the 274MB space.
-
Thanks for clearing that up.

Regarding 10.3.3, can this information possibly be right?: "but so far, looks like a great (and BIG (274megs!) ) update is on the way" Is this a typo? 74MB?

I wonder if the poster is the same Faeylyn who used to post at Macrumors.com. See for example: Faeylyn Name Used Here

Please buy your machine. Apple is waiting until you do to release the upgraded G5s. Time to take one for the team!
