I can only pray that Apple comes aboard with the rest of the notebook LCD world and gives its customers leading edge TFT technology in the G5ivver PB's. (as opposed to the 2 or 3 year old technology/specs of the current PB line)

be aware that you are only allowed 1 notebook purchase per year when using the edu discount... I think the edu term starts sometime in the summer (August 1st maybe)...? I am probably wrong with that date...

i agree with many others from above... BTO screen options awould help this situation..(at the very least)... this is one aspect that I find problematic in all Apple notebooks, that being Apple screen technology and performance is really behind…

hmmmm.... if the thing is really going to be as efficient as claimed and only requires 'low power' per se... that means a larger than 17" screen may become a reality... perhaps not...

maybe a more realistic option for the 17" would be to offer a higher resolution screen as a BTO... I would be certainly onboard for that...

i think something larger than 17" is definitely viable, whether or not Apple will construct one I am not sure... if something was say 18" or 20" it would be very useabe if it was maybe 0.5" "thin"... maybe this is where Apple should be focusin…

as mentioned above a NO BRAINER is building one in Toronto.... last time I checked 5th largest metropolis in North America maybe even 4th or 3rd if you count all of the 416/905... Toronto I hope will be the 2nd international Apple Store... …

the dvorak layout is nice, and makes more sense. Mathematicall/statistically it is more effcient...When I was in HS I learned the dvorak just to see if I could do it... I did, and to this day I have a rearranged PC keyboard with a dvorak layout…
