So it's now official - 10 million iPhones already sold in 2008.

Is AppleInsider going to be purchasing one of the 24" LED displays, so we can get some high quality photos please?

Well, the only major one I know of is Inside Mac Games, which has been around for a long time. It's the sister site of Mac Game Files. Apple also has it's own games page. If iPod/iPhone gaming is more your thing, then Touch Arcade is an excell…

Do a File > Get Info and then check the "Locked" option. This will prevent the file from being deleted even if you put it in the Trash and try to empty it.

Try removing iTunes completely and then reinstalling it again perhaps?

*Sigh* You put your laptop to sleep while it was doing a backup? Also, sending threats to support and then posting it on random internet forums will not solve your problem, or make you feel better. I suggest you calm down a little and let …

Hmmm, I wonder if the drive has somehow become marked as hidden. Could you try the following: Open up a terminal window and type "cd /Volumes" then type "ls -al" What is the output? It should be something like this: Code: drwxrwxrwt@ 5 ro…

Have you moved the iTunes app out of the /Applications folder? If so, try moving it back and then running the installer again.

What exactly happens when you try to add the images? Do they appear to be saved, or is there an error? Is it just in iTunes that the artwork doesn't show up? What happens if you use QuickLook on the mp3 files? Does the artwork show then?

Try using another ID3 editor to add the artwork. For example ID3X. You might find that there is some problem with the tags on the file. I've often seen that iTunes does not properly update tags in the file, but in the iTunes library file instead,…

Try going into View > Arrange by > Name while on the desktop to re-arrange all of the icons. Do you have an external monitor connected?

As of Mac OS X 10.4 it's included with the OS. Just check inside the /Applications/Utilities folder.

Bounce the message. It'll give them a nice little fright to get a "message could not be delivered" response. For extra effect, you could bounce it a few hours before the deadline for when it's due. A bit of blind panic will teach them to behav…

Okay, let's make a couple of assumptions here. Seinfeld tells Gates they need to connect with "ordinary people", yet fail to do so miserably to the point where they are kicked out the house. The ad makes fun of both Gates/Seinfeld and the somewha…

It's funnier than the first one at least. And Microsoft are telling us that they will get better along the road. It's like vaporware for adverts: "We know it sucks now, but just wait for the next version - it'll be awesome!"

This was Gruber's take on it: Quote: I strongly suspect these new prices for the Touch are the margin-reducing “product transition” Apple alluded to in its quarterly finance call in July. http://daringfireball.net/2008/09/le..._special_event

Hmmm. Seems like a huge chunk of my artists are missing in the browse mode now. Looks like they are being grouped under "Compilations" instead of their own names. My backup library on iTunes 7.7.1 shows 334 artists, but iTunes 8.0 only shows 182 …
