Between my phone and watch, a device like this has exactly zero appeal for me. Add in Google, and that interest plummets into the negative, which is to say... revulsion.

As far as Spectrum is concerned, this is rather dated news. We "cut the cord" back in February, and the customer service center already had a dedicated display set up for ATV, and made that offer to me.

So... MicrosoftOutsider now? With all due respect to Mike (whose content is generally great), there are dozens of places that already provide review content like this. I am forced to use a Windows machine at work. AI used to be my escape from all…

Thanks, AI, I learned something new about my Watch today. Seems to work perfectly in a quiet room.

As I mentioned in an earlier forum post, the full call (audio) is available via the show’s podcast, 4/4/2019, Hour 4, starting around the eight-minute mark.

So I finally jumped into wearables this week... all in on a Watch Series 4. Day 1: "Ooooh new toy!" Day 2: "If this isn't compelling in the next 13 days, I may return it and save my money for something more deserving." Day 3: "Wow, look at wha…

Coincidentally, I just cut my Spectrum cable service today. (Keeping their Internet, though, as it's the most viable of my choices.) Around here, Spectrum is pushing a streaming package altogether different... pick any ten of most of the above (inc…

Not sure what happened to Gator's link (the editor ate it?), but here it is: https://suitsandtech.co/2018/05/29/explained-the-differences-between-apple-airplay-2-and-google-cast/

OK, honest question, and this seems like the right thread to pose it... My Mac Mini mid-2010's days are numbered, because as an onstage live musician, I need a laptop, not a desktop. It needs to be able to run Logic/MainStage reliably (no onstage g…
