I don't use click'n'hold because it is slow and clunky compared to issuing the contextual menus with ctrl-click or right click.

Yes, the command button is the same as the apple button. Option is the key between command and ctrl - the alt key. :-)

My Safari install has died and doesn't work, so I can't test. But at least in OmniWeb, I can click and hold links to get the contextual menu. I'd think it's the same in Safari. But that doesn't negate the ability to use ctrl-click, of course.

The 2.5 is a noisy bitch from time to time. Even in a properly tempered room the fans start to be noisy whenever the CPU load is high. The dual 1.8, on the other hand, I remember as a quiet machine (I own neither of them).
