Lagavulin is good but I'm more of a Glenmorangie fan myself. Dying to try a sip from a bottle of 15 year old Aberlour I was given recently. Will let you know... Cheers, C.

Tough call... I expect that Apple will eventually go with a new form factor (when they go to a G5), but for the next revision...? I'm leaning more towards a G4 speedbump for the next go-around. I think supply is still a little tight for the G5 which…

Y'know, of all the Apple designs over the years the only ones I can say I *really* liked were the Cube, the iPod, the Ti/Al-Powerbooks and the 20th anniversary Macs. Most of the Macs I'm more-or-less neutral on, but the real ugly ones IMO are: Fl…

My Mac (@ work)... G4 1.25 "Mirror Door Mac" - decent in OS 9, annoyingly slow in X... 768 MB Ram - about 1/10th of what I really need... 160 GB HD - Can't complain about the HD space, definitely all I need. Combo Drive - Anemic 16x CD …

PCs are definitely fun to build. Right now I'm running a slightly aged, but nicely tweaked, P4 1.6 Ghz box, Epson scanner, a new Plextor burn-everything-under-the-sun drive, ~160 GB of HD space, 19" monitor, Altec Lansing 5.1 audio, etc. for home…
