Inspiring...somehow I'm always able to discover another nugget to create another dot

You can't be too thin or too tall... Wait for it...

I believe the goal is simply to demonstrate that "the look" is indeed a copy of the iPhone. Perhaps better than duck tape obscuring logos, just a simple digital image of both phones with any reference to brand, photoshopped out. Keep it simple..…

OK, the bar's been raised: can someone photoshop a toaster in a Fridge in an elevator...

I'm floored: nobody ran with the bone and photoShopped a toaster with a Fridge...

Time to bail the 2 year upgrade carousel. Given all the wifi availability, I'll keep my iPhone 4 (and iPad 3) for the simple convenience of contacts, emails, reading, video, browsing, ad infinitum, and buy a dumb-phone family plan with no forced dat…

Netflix advises they stream both HD (720) that requires download speed of 5mbps and the new 1080p (7mbps). The new iPad has an "Apple TV" like circuitry built in to decode the signal where you'll need the Apple Tv for your Big Screen to do the same.

[QUOTE=Gatorguy;2052010]Simply curious. . . Are iPads commonly used as cameras? Seems like it would be awkward to use a tablet that way. Mount the iPad on a tri-pod and voila: a new age large format camera pod!

Quite frankly, it's not about the tube (old school). It's about content, access to content and ease of use. Plenty of screens that look really good. And depending on how you tweak them, you can make it look wonderful. Honestly, how many pixels does …

Think 79 million baby boomers beginning to retire. Think fixed budget. Think wifi in most homes, hotels, Starbucks & other hotspots. Now think an iPhone that is wifi only and doesn't require a data plan (like the iPad option). Now think AT…

Google is becoming more like MS, but slightly more entrepreneurial. But to date, Google (and peers) is still chasing the same rabbit(tablet) that Apple pulled out of their hat. Ironically, the one magic trick that I thought was truly inspirational w…

Apple is currently selling their refurbished 16GB iPad2 for $419. Can't see them selling it new for $299, even if it's last years model. But it would be sweet!

Been using the Fire for about 2 weeks (prepping it for my wife). Mostly using it for the wonderful selection of FREE movies & TV (classic, camp & comedy for me). The on/off button issue is not an issue; external volume adjustment would be co…

I compared both: the Fire & Nook. Since we're AMZ prime, more benefits for staying in their universe. Camera's not required (we both have iPhones). My wife is VERY happy watching NetFlix, news and magazines. Really, I also find it satisfactory. …
