  • Does anyone know if Safari in Tiger has developed speed? From my personal use, Firefox beats Safari hands down. Has this changed in Tiger? I love the look and feel of Safari and the new features in Tiger seem superb, but I need the speed to catch…

  • Go for the Powerbook. This was a great update, for it gave the Powerbooks 5400PM drives, versus the old 4200 RPM standard. That makes a big difference. My 12" Powerbook is flying.. I love it.

  • I just sold my iBook G4, and it was a very capable machine. It has a 1.07 GHZ G4, Bluetooth, Airport, and 60 gig hard drive. I used it for Photoshop, Illustrator, iMovie, iPhoto, Microsoft Office, etc. The iBook is a nice machine in my opinion. …

  • From what I understand, the panel inside the 20" cinema is the same inside Dell's 20" widescreen. Furthermore, Dell's is brighter and has loads of inputs. It is listed at $750, but with coupons you can get for about $550. Yes, Apple's displays …
  • jonnyb, Thanks. You've made me feel better too. It is nice to know it isn't a problem, well it probably shouldn't bet there, but they all have it, so we can't really do anything or worry about. It has really impressed me, in terms of perform…

  • What is the performance of the Powerbook with a display like Apple's 20 inch cinema? I know it works, but some have said the Mac Mini does not do a great job with the display, thing sseem slow sometimes? Should the Powerbook 12 current handle it…
  • I've noticed the entire bottom quarter of an inch of my 12 display looks darker. Furthermore, I can't seem to get the display to look good period.
