How is the dual core Yonah based Powerbook due early 2006 expected to compare against the current Powermac Dual 2.7GHz?

I found www.colorwarepc.com They charge $400. Add another $100 if you want a custom color other than their choices. Any other mods available?

I want to buy the new iMac 20" 2GHz. Has anyone seen any interesting mods to avoid all that white plastic look?

For reference, I set the brightness on Sony Artisan CRTs and Eizo CG21 LCDs at 85.

I just want Apple to include a video card in all the Powermacs that will drive the 30" Cinema display just as the ATI 9700 in the Powerbook 17" 1.67GHz. does.

Perhaps an updated iSight could be smaller, and use white L.E.D.s for illumination.

How much longer do you all expect will be the wait? I'd like a Dual 2GHz with two 512MB sticks of memory, 250GB Maxtor MaxLine III, 16x SuperDrive, and x700 or whatever can drive the 30" ACD $2000 Any chance?

If the 128MB ATI 9700 inside the latest Powerbook 17" can drive the 30" display, shouldn't the next round of Powermacs all be able to, and without having to spend an extra $400 to $500 ?

There's enough space below each of the new displays, where a Powerbook or my idea of a 2" thick "Slab" (a.k.a Powerbook without built-in display) can go. Slab can be the headless iMac or next DLD, I hope.

Will the displays have thin bezel, be VESA compliant, and have DVI interface instead of ADC?

A long wait, or very soon?
