one thing that I don't understand is why APple is using iTunes to transfer iPhoto-pictures..... for PC's I can sort of understand, but for Mac, wouldn't it be easiier just to update iPhoto aand let us do it thru that app instead of iTunes...?

RES: AGREE AGREE AGREE AGREE AGREE AGREE AGREE AGREE AGREE AGREE!

well, if appleworks will do that, then it will have to be an UPDATE format HUGE, like, take away everything appleworks and redo it totally. sadly, that's the difference. But I would welcome a iPhd-document-app.

I say: FrameMaker. That was probably the biggest loss. We'll see what happens, sofar nobody seem to be able to make a replacing app and Adobe is saying nothing, having a small questionnaire. Bad.

going to.... thanx

does fire now work with address book (like iChat does). Weird that there is no third-party chat that does. Proteus does a little bit, but not really so that it matters. pretty bad i would say

sounds like os 1-9 - they added all these "plugg-ins" and essential tweaks up and down; in the end it was doomed just because of that. Better to have a clean app with a clear focus that does what it is supposed to galantly. But it would be nice …

well, rok, i agree: most things digital can be solved digitally. I seriously doubt that indesign ever is going to be a good app that can replace framemaker. Plug-ins for footnotes cost a whoppiong 195 dollars, in addition to the app istelf, can't af…
