  • powerbooks must be updated really soon if it's just a speed bump - only way i can see them having the ibooks nearly as fast as the pbs for any length of time is if they're waiting to release something really big

  • you will have no problem video editing on an emac. i run final cut pro 3 on a 600mhz imac with 256 mb of ram, and it works fine, just takes a while to render things.
