If it's a 7.85" screen shouldn't we be rounding it up to 8"? It's only .15" shy of that. To me it just doesn't make sense to call it a 7" screen when it's much closer to 8"..... I'm just saying.

I'd say it's "warm" but definitely not enough to be uncomfortable to hold. My Thinkpad for instance creates a swamp in my pants (you can't un-know that). Are there any reports of the new iPad shutting itself down or are people just worried because i…

It feels like we're talking about a war that's going to happen; the plan of attack, how many forces there are, and what the enemy forces will be armed with. Unfortunately it's like we're invading Canada in this war.

The Metro UI is pretty nice, at least it's original compared to the route Android took. I like that you can switch to the classic Windows view too if for some reason you hate Metro. To be honest I'm a bit intrigued by these Windows 8 Intel tablets b…

I think it's unlikely these will have a retina display but I'd really love it if they at least bumped up the resolution a bit. The 13 inch Air has a 1440x900 screen and the 13 inch pro doesn't. With the programs I use I'd really benefit from the inc…

I see Real Racing 2 says it runs at the full 2048x1536 WITH 4x AA. That's really impressive, it ran at 1080p without any upscaling on the iPad 2 through the HDMI-out. I can't wait to try the various games.

2D games and apps will be increasing because of the higher resolution artwork needed. Yet 3D games such as Infinity Blade, Real Racing 2, etc shouldn't increase much as running a game in a higher resolution doesn't require more space. Also as a …

People need to be more aware of the differences between something being a "rumor" and being "factual". Don't get bent out of shape over stuff like this. Apple may still use Nvidia or they may use AMD in the new Macbook Pros. Even so, the new Ivy bri…

The main problem with people's thinking is that you don't need to make the new iPad GPU 4x as powerful just to get the same performance as the iPad 2. The only thing changing for games is the higher resolution, that comes down to having a high pixel…

I got my shipping notice a little bit ago, Fedex probably won't update the status until tomorrow sometime. The Apple site says it delivers March 16th, I'm sure there's a rule they can't deliver before the 16th. My birthday is on Monday that'd be a n…

3D screens work by splitting the left and right pixels/light. That's going to cause slight problems in tablets if you want to hold it in landscape AND in portrait position. The Nintendo 3DS for example has a resolution of 800x240 but in 3D mode it e…
