I had visual artifacts with 10.4.4 with my 12" PowerBook G4, when scrolling in Safari. Not sure if it's the same problem or not and I don't fully know yet whether 10.4.5 has fixed it.

Backup through Software Update is a silly thing to do, because I had a .Mac account and have Backup 3.0 sitting in my Apps folder, SU gave me 3.1 even though I don't have a .Mac account any more... ...Not that I'm complaining.
