Awww...that'd be sad. $9-mil (correct?) shattered. Steve's own money too (although he is rich). Imagine the outcry by the Apple community. I can imagine them trying to petition for the idiot to get the death sentence or something.

In response to "MS iLife," hasn't Microsoft taken almost every Mac innovation and put it on their system and call it their own? But I don't think it'll be as impressive or as good as the real iLife.

Eeek! No, I'm not going to partake in this.

Yes indeed: eeek! I hope this is an April Fools joke. I would rather not have to look at XP.

Does anybody know IF and HOW the workers at the 1 Infinite Loop headquarters celebrate this momentous moment?

Oh. Cantonese. I'm only learning Manderin...

I saw that too. Though I could've sworn that I saw some of the Pro apps that aren't universal binaries running on the screen of the MacBook Pro. I'll try and find it again.

Mine does that, and mine is the original apple optical pro mouse (the clear shell with black). I never realized that it looked like a mouse though. I've also thought of it as a deformed apple [the fruit, not the company] for some odd reason...

BTW, what does he mean, "but [Apple's] OS X has been doing that for years now, and it's still Windows underneath, right?" Windows underneath?! No, it's not. He must not know much about Apple and the Mac (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,186454,00…

Yeah...WHEN is it EVER gonna come out?! Hasn't the release date been pushed back even farther? AND why are there SOOOOO many options and versions of it?! No normal consumer is going to know what to do! They'll probably just buy the "Ultimate" (yeah …

I love typing in Chinese. I usually use the Pinyin [Look at the first link (http://www.yale.edu/chinesemac/pages/os_x4.html) for reference, but check the Pinyin option under traditional INSTEAD of the Hanin) and use the ITABC (or something of that s…

I like it. The touchscreen is so ingenious! So much more efficient than all the scroll/touch/click wheels. Then again, this mock-up touchwheel on the screen doesn't strike me as too efficient because you'd still have to scroll your finger around the…

When I was testing out software on the Quads in the Apple Store, I found them to be as responsive as the duals. The app I was using was Adobe Illustrator CS2 and I was using the Live Trace feature. Anyway, even opening Safari took quite a while.

Wait...why doesn't Steve use an Apple Remote? On the Keynote 3 site I read that the you can use the Apple Remote to control your slideshow.

I wish there was still Firewire 800. If I get this, I won't be able to work with Final Cut as well...hmmm. Also, something looks like it's missing from this whole thing....AND THE NAME?!?!? WHO THOUGHT OF IT?!?! UGH...I like Powerbook way more than …

Aesthetically, I think the one button looks way better. As well, Apple never put one of those scroll bar things on the right of their trackpad, but instead did the two finger scrolling. I think what Apple should do is implement the two-finger on tac…

I wish Apple would either make their own phone, or partner with LG...and make it available on Verizon.
