"Gogole not only has zero respect for its users' privacy, it also has zero respect for government regulators" Gogole: Chinese knock-off Google? Pasta dish?

The desktop version of Pixelmator is overhyped and needs a complete overhaul UX-wise. Never tried the mobile version, but it looks good. For a more professional desktop solution and a worthy Photoshop replacement, download Affinity Photo Beta, whic…

So now it's released, can anyone explain me what the watch offers except being an extension/second screen for the iPhone?

"Geared towards video pros"? Don't think so. They geared it towards video enthusiasts. No pro gives a rats ass about 3D text. It's corny. Most of the changes is about playing catch up with user requests but many, many stuff hasn't been addressed y…

It's much less even. If you compress a high quality h264 video for streaming in 1080p your video ends up around 7gb or so (depending on the contents of the video itself). Bluray movies net around 20gb, but they are compressed less extremely (and le…

No it does not require 300gb of storage. Where did you get that from? 1080p H264 videos on Netflix for example are more close to 4 gb of storage. In theory 4K video would net around 4 times as much but this isn't the case since the codec is more eff…

Right now - and that perception may change over time - I see traditional watches being true jewelry whereas the iWatch is a mini computer. I like the analogue mechanical nature of traditional watches more. I still don't see the added value of a smar…

How can I filter a list of photos that haven't been assigned to an album yet? Basically the album "unassigned"? This way I can make sure all my photos end up in an album. I miss album scrubbing (moving mouse over album to see multiple photos)

MagSafe wasn't very effective on my 11' MacBook Air anyway. It's so light that it disconnects too late when someone trips over the cable. I totally understand they left it out. They had to anyway considering the concept behind it.

Turn off the artificial interpolation to get true 24p or 25p. You are most likely experiencing the tv's software adding frames in between, some tv's even end up with '200 fps'. It looks absolutely horrible. desuserign wrote: » question for those …

Hi Dazabrit! True, the Metabones Speedbooster is excellent! I've seen the results and with the right Sigma lens you can even get to 0.74f :-D I should have added to my post I personally invested in four-third lenses a lot prior to purchasing the …

The BMPC has been released around september 2013 and is most likely going to be replaced with a new version in a month at NAB; I wonder why AppleInsider is reviewing this camera - and why now? There are far better resources to check the camera's cap…

Which is a pretty great photoshop alternative, not aperture. rayz wrote: » Then take Affinity Photo out for a spin.

It'll sell like crazy but looks like an unnecessary product to me.

About time Dropbox! Shame Dropbox sharing doesn't show up when selecting multiple files.
