A lawyer's job is to suck his/her client's wallet bare. I agree, Cook should have stepped up. Feckless, I say.

So what's the bottom line here, huh Apple? Saying you are now putting back what you took off is irrelevant. Are more, or less, of your products harming the environment? Quit blowing smoke and talking about what you've put on your website. What's…

I switched from iPhone to Galaxy 2. Great phone, easy to use. Initiallly I just thought I'd try it and return it but it was so much better than the iPhone that it's a keeper.

What's coming out of the stack isn't just steam. Depending on the plant, it could include a potpourri of toxins. What Greenpeace did was give Apple props for trying. Not for actually doing anything. This is the equivalent of a participation award…

This statement by Apple is just PR spin. It provides no inisight and only indicates that Apple feels its already doing enough. But the sheep won't care. I hope the education market takes note of this change and further abandons Apple.

I wish school districts would adopt this certification. Why should our tax dollars be used to support products/companies that are not environmentally friendly? Apple is just trying to eke a few more pennies out of each product.

I'm certain it will be appealed because that's what lawyers do. As for "Samsung's blatant copying", you must know more about this case than the judge. Interesting that this AI article made no mention of the poke at Apple's lack of original…

It's clear to me who won. Samsung gets to keep doing what it wanted to. And Apple's lack of originality was noted in court. The "cool" comment may influence 10-year-olds though.

Right. The only company that should release unreliable Beta versions to the public is Apple, and only when it needs a marquee feature to promote an otherwise (yawn) forgettable version upgrade. Siri-usly. There is no way to cure hunger but ther…

Very good point. My Mac Performa had a telephone program that include voicemail. Just because it had a phone feature didn't mean that was all I used it for. The 17" monitor was great, even though it was too big to hold to my ear when I used the pho…

Most people are using their phones for everything but phones, so how it looks holding it to your head is nonsense. Besides, with Bluetooth and corded headsets, you only need the phone to dial. What looks ridiculous is holding up an iPad to take a…

I was quite loyal to Apple until I tried a Galaxy 2. I wanted to see what was on the other side of the fence. Now that I've switched from Apple, it's extremely pleasant. The phone is just so much easier to use and much more customizable than the iP…

I'm sure once the tax-subsidies end, Apple will high-tail it out of NV, blaming an unfriendly business climate. And, as usual, taxpayers will continue to pay the bill. It happens daily across the US.

To all of you bashing Samsung: Show receipts proving you have used a Samsung product beyond five minutes at Radio Shack while waiting for your mom to drive you home. Then you can provide some informed opinions. I used an iPhone for nearly three ye…

You don't have to hate something to realize another product is worth a try and, possibly buying. Think different. Not here, I guess.

I switched from iPhone to Samsung. The Samsung UI is fine. Sure, takes a few days of getting rid of the old iOS habits. But then, anytime you venture outside something is different. For most of us.
