And a really pocketable MacBook Air.

"so that buyers are afforded the latest and greatest Apple experience" Really? Why they do not fix then the bugs that plague Mac OS X? And why do they keep on charging for new versions of something that is basically new beta versions of Mac OS…

So far, the lighter and smaller model outsells the other. Many people want an even lighter and smaller Mac. A truly mobile Mac.
-
Hopefully with a lighter and smaller model than the 11.6-inch for true Mac mobility.

The MacBook Air 11.6-inch outsells the heavier and larger model. The reason is simple: in this MacBook Air line, many people want mobility first and foremost, ahead of power or battery life. That is why if Apple could make a lighter and smaller MacB…

The fact that the 11.6-inch MacBook Air has outsold the 13.3-inch model is revealing. If Apple made an even lighter and smaller MacBook Air, it would outsell the other models as well. Because many people want a full Mac but as mobile as possible. An…

THE MAIN reason to buy the MacBook Air 11.6-inch is NOT because it is cheaper, but because it is lighter and smaller. Apple should make an even lighter (400 to 600 g) and smaller (7-inch) MacBook Air.

Hopefully, a really ultraportable MacBook Air soon: 400 to 600 g and 7-inch. The Mac in your pocket. Always.

Hopefully not! Did Apple learn from the PowerPC fiasco? An x86 chip is a must for compatibility across the Mac line and with the windoze world (read Microsoft Office). Or else, it will be the end of the Mac.

Apple should include Thunderbolt in all devices, to avoid repetating the Firewire fiasco.
-
Obviously, Apple did not learn from the PowerPC FIASCO. Too bad. Be prepared for a brave new world of 1984 closed Mac systems based on the horrible iOS. Apple is evolving. Hopefully, NOT!!! Or else millions will move to Windows. Apple decides.

Hopefully, all with Thunderbolt and the option of matte displays. Sign the petition for Apple matte displays here: MacMatte (matte petition) http://macmatte.wordpress.com

No matte displays. No purchase. Sign the petition for Apple matte displays at: MacMatte (matte petition) http://macmatte.wordpress.com

Apple should include matte displays, at least as an option. Otherwise (all glossy displays), no purchase!

What is needed is a lighter and smaller MacBook Air: 400 to 600 g and 7 inches. The Mac in your pocket. Always.

To avoid another Firewire fiasco, Apple should include Thunderbolt on all new models of all products. Being better is not enough, as Firewire vs USB demonstrated.
