• Ok all if you were not watching the mwny keynote there is manly only 1 change. pc's use the 4 pin firewire cable. macs use the 6 pin firewire cables so in theary change the fw cable and you can use it on ether.

• If you have access to another mac pop out the hd try to format/ fix it on the other mac. if it still does not boot up on your box your board may be going . OR it could be a bad cable or conecter

• Adam you can do this my friends have doen it. you get a sony camcorder with firewire for around $899 canadin that way you can take reg pic's or record stuff on it. shure it sounds like it wont work but it worked good for me.
