There's definitely a phase-out of Hard Drive iPods, i mean...there's only one model left. There will still be hard drive based iPods as long as flash memory can't semi-affordably reach the 40-60GB range. I'd give it 2 or 3 years, maybe more thou…

Just covering their ass I guess. Most of these patents that AI has published haven't come to light if memory serves me correct.

Anybody remember how long it took them last year after Tiger finalized to burn and ship? I think we should be on schedule for the Oct 29th launch as mentioned. This is exciting! I really hope they got the software update bugs fixed though...tha…

Nice...but what about the mac mini?! There was a brief mention of it in the Q&A that it received "a refresh" but what is it? The store was up, but the link to mac mini was broken, now it went back down again.

Hmm...I thought new revisions of old products were supposed to have less problems.

It's unfair to use the iPhone as an example when this has been happening for years and years on other carriers. All phones aren't built for all networks, that's the manufacturers choice. Perhaps the only validity is the required contract that you …

That's too bad...I really thought it was a great revenue tool for Apple to get consumers to buy QuickTime Pro...now there's really no need to sell it (this is probably the most common reason for users to upgrade). The only other good feature in my …

I bought a 1.83ghz MBP when it first came out last March. I ALWAYS remove the magsafe as your supposed to, never pulling the cord. The end of it frayed where the cord met the tip of the magsafe and there were wires exposed everywhere. I took it t…

I don't really see the need for Apple to be developing games here, surely there are plenty of advanced companies in existance to do that...is there really a large enough market to justify the expansion?

Microsoft continues to be the worlds worst at marketing. Somehow, Apple while putting no serial #'s or applications has tons of people buying genuine copies of OS X (nice that there's no upgrade option, that would be hell) because it's such a good …

Excellent idea, a touchscreen with an iPod Dock connector at certain tables would be really nice. Perhaps you could buy a $5 or $10 song card you swipe in, song goes on the iPod, go home, sync up your iPod and song transfer's into your library.

Yup 802.11N accross the board as well as in the iTV according to sources...should be a pretty vast improvement, and backwards compatible with 802.11B/G. 802.11N iSight Perhaps? Mmmm...

This is absolutely irrelavant.

This whole thing's getting pretty overblown in my opinion. There are over 200 major companies that also started internal probes this year identical to Apples. As to that picture: priceless.

When reading this article I kept getting a strange feeling that Steve's trying to hide something. Definitely not good news.

It seems as if the Ghz war has ended, it's all about cores and cache these days. It also looks like Intel's product pipeline is progressing very rapidly, I miss the PowerPC's...at lest when we got something new it was exciting
