Seems like a large feature of Alexa is that Amazon is active developing tools to help 3rd parties build skills for Alexa and they have a weekly cadence for releasing new interactions/features. I don't see this with Siri, largely because Apple hasn't…

$250 feels like amazing value. Then I remind myself that I bought one in good condition on eBay for ~$100 a few months back. Wish Apple would update the SE (A12, 64GB, edge to edge LCD, etc) and offer it for $500 new.

Given the price increases, it forces most people to either adopt a longer upgrade cycle (spend $1200 every 4 yrs vs $650 every 2 yrs) or to stop buying Apple products...things are getting out of hand.

It's odd for me to see the XR and XS Max selling so well, when for me, even the XS is too large for me. Wish apple would release a SE sized full screen phone with modern hardware and slot it in around $650.

$250 is cheap, but considering that I could pick up a used one for $100 on eBay, I'd just go pick up on for $100.

Apple now sells premium iPads, Watches, AirPods, HomePods, etc...those things eat into my electronics spending for the year, so that even if my total spending on Apple products stays constant, I'll upgrade anyone of those items less frequently becau…

From a consumer perspective, the reason why people are not upgrading as quickly seems obvious. 1. The iPhone 7/8 is just so good. Later versions of the phone only provide incremental value 2. The current iPhones are too expensive (and too large) …

I have a hard time believing that the majority of iPhone owners that paid $650-$850 for their phones will pay $1,000 to $1,450 for the current gen premium phones. I’d imagine Apple will hit saturation of those that will sometime soon. Wish they had …

I was excited until I got to the part where they said it’s not nearly as good as the PlayStation VR headset. The PlayStation VR headset itself is mediocre and not enjoyable for more than short periods. Was hoping this would be better.

Well, 44% are happy with their current phones, so this is a good thing, not a bad thing for X adoption. My iPhone 7 is great. No urge to upgrade given current features and prices.

I've seen all these comparisons between the HomePod and Sonos One where they say they both sound good but the HomePod is a bit better. I listened to a Sonos One for the first time last weekend and it was OK. Good for a small speaker, but not good in…

When these were announced I thought they looked absurd. I've done a 180 and now I want some! But I can't buy until Apple makes a case that closes with silicone hooks on the AirPods because they don't stay in my ear without them (and I don't want to …

People are ignoring R&D costs. I'd imagine the R&D on a speaker are less than a smart phone.

my first MBP in 2007 had really terrible sound, much worse than the dell laptop I was replacing. my 2010 MBP and my 2014 MBP were also pretty poor compared to the much cheaper competition. Finally my 2016 MBP has very good sounds for its size, as do…

One step closer to having Apple processors on the Macs. Once most people are using Apple Store Apps for the majority of their tasks, the switch becomes easier.

I'm good with this focus. Build a strong foundation. But...the rest of the industry will progress a lot over the next two years...before major new features will be released...hope this doesn't catch Apple off guard.

I guess minor is relative. If they keep the price the same but replace the A9 era processor with an A11, more RAM, and more storage, that would be a pretty major upgrade to the phone.
