I can't imagine anyone wearing that thing, much less paying to own one.

Terrible traditional style watches. They need to get past the traditional watch "face" paradigm. These devices are not watches.

What sounds far more plausible is a notebook running on Arm for the cost savings, rather a 12" convertible iPad. They made a big point to say that the new 64 bit A7 was desktop class. So I would imagine the A8 to be even more so. I see far more dema…

When introducing the A7, they made a big point of calling it "desktop class." So they must have plans of using future A series arm chips on iOS desktop/laptop type devices.

I remember when Dell did this for this early phablets. It seems like trying too hard. Waste of advertising money.

I hope this teaches everyone a lesson. That Motorola and Nokia should have copied better.

I hope Apple is able to make theirs a standalone product. I think it would suck as a "companion piece". I would love to have it as my sole phone email checker and not have to haul around anything else. They would sell a hell of a lot more if it was…

Certainly makes the full size iPad more compelling. I would feel on the spot and be hard pressed to decide which one I would buy now.

Sounds good to me. And don't knock the Surface, if it was released a few years earlier it would have gained traction, but not today vs cheap Android tabs. With the fire sale going for last year's RT model, I got a Surface for work with the cover on …

Apple is usually a pretty inclusive company. Striving to appeal to as large a demographic as possible. Excluding everyone over the age of 9 with this color selection is very un-Apple.
-
Since changing colors on these things wouldn't be such a large task, I say they should change the colors up to make them not only collectable, but appeal to different consumers. I say it is a great time to offer a black model and other more adult or…

...and here I thought they would have used the same exact smart cover on a new smaller device.

This is exactly what the 5c should be doing. How would a regular 5 have sold? A 5 with a more expensive case? How much would it have cannibalized sales of the 5s? I think the 5c strategy worked out perfectly, no cannibalization and higher margins fr…

A service like Aereo is the future of broadcasting. They better get used to it. Sure, having an undisturbed monopoly is good and all, but the time has come. Technology has made their service obsolete. ...actually, I hope, they are stubborn enough t…

my guess is the event is going to be very game-centric. My guess is the invites will hint at gaming.

the 5c is going to sell well, and it will continue to sell next year as well. I think it was designed for the long haul for those who don't care about the latest and greatest, but still demand a great phone.

I may just tale them up on that offer. I think this will get people to the stores.

Beside the technical failings, it still incumbent upon aesthetics, and that's the hard part. People care even if they only wear jeans and a t-shirt, about what they wear. Especially if it costs 300 bucks. Gear is neither causal, nor elegant, I don't…

I would love to be able to take a small iMac off of it's stand and draw directly on it, edit photos directly on it, CAD, for music, take to school, work. There are a lot of applications that would benefit from being touch enabled that require more …
