The watch is a new concept, so I can understand that they need a way to deal with multiple permutations. But there is no excuse for the MacBook. Apple has launched notebooks before. It always went smoothly. When the 11" Air launched in 2010, I …

I'll believe it when I see it. iTunes Radio has also been "coming soon" for over a year now.

I don't know about NY, but in many jurisdictions, that's illegal. Did they charge the card, or just perform a pre-authorization?

I find it laughable that this is being promoted as a replacement for Aperture. Where are the brush adjustments, for one thing? How about plug-ins?

But what about the MacBooks? I don't care too much for the watch right now, but I'd like to pickup a MacBook Friday. There is no information available. There are no pre-orders, so nobody knows how long it will take to get one after ordering onlin…

I want one of the dark watches, but not willing to pay the price of the black SS one, especially for a gen1 product. So I'll get the Sport model and an aftermarket band later. Not sure about the size. I will likely pre-order both, try them in the …

"what matters is that consumers have a payment option that is widely accepted, secure and developed with their best interests in mind." It exists. It's called cash. No data collection. No tracking. No problems with databases being hacked.

I wish there was a black/gold variant. I like the gold back, but the white front is distracting for any media viewing, so I stick to grey.

I can see a "retina" iMac, using the same panel as the Dell UP2414Q monitor.

It works great on my Dell UP2414Q (Superb monitor) and Samsung U28D590 (Ok monitor, but great value) with my Late 2013 15" rMBP. I think the 24" panel in the UP2414Q would be perfectly suited to a retina iMac.

The subscription model might work for small business that can write off the cost of the subscription entirely rather than depreciating the value of software.

Not sure about iOS devices, but the only Mac that might see this for now is the next-gen Mac Pro. Intel will only be supporting DDR4 on Socket 2011 for the foreseeable future. All "Core" chips (except the HPDT line that Apple never used) will rema…

But how many of those are actually paying Microsoft to really use the apps vs. "just tryin' it out cause it's free"?
