Or maybe because the alternatives just sucked. How many people would actually buy a phone that they didn't enjoy using, just to prove a point?

I am not understanding the acrimony here. Google's actions aren't really unexpected. Apple's inability to set default apps can be frustrating for both users and developers. I want to email someone from a browser link, mail app pops up instead of g…

The new swipe system still seems more cumbersome compared to how mailbox does it. So to move an email, I need 2 separate taps, compared to 1 fluid swipe by mailbox. If iOS doesn't support push gmail for the iPhone 5s, I see little reason to go bac…

My guess is that this budget iphone is probably a reskinned iphone 4s. A5 chip, 3G, with the fatter form factor to fit in the antennae that aren't "outsourced" to the sides of the iphone any longer. Why not just resell excess 4s stock in ot…

IMO, Scott simply had to go. Ios6 just plain stank (I feel it was the weakest release in ios history), and he was reportedly a roadblock preventing the other departments from working effectively together.

With regards to the battery life, I think Apple is about the only company who actually understates their duration.
