Despite smart phones existing in their current format for 8 years and this method not being used as yet. I fully expect it to be copied by apple's competitors, then claimed as an obvious idea (that no one else could think of for 8 years.)
-
Duplicating competitor products is not innovation. Then again, this isn't something Google has figured out, since all of their products are acquisitions or dupes.

This is the strongest of this ad series so far. It provides a compelling reason to check out what's on the Apple platform, the other reasons while genuine here, come across cliche since other platforms have always pretended to have a functional hard…

Isn't this the exact thing which the carriers were vehemently against, promising apple that they'd never take on the iphone if they persued a soft-sim.

Apple doing more for artists, the rapidly decreasing cost of producing an album (read: technology) and Connect, publishers are losing some of their relevance. They'll still be required, but what all of this allows is more talent to get exposure rath…

The fact that Spotify can just send out the emails is testament to this not actually being as big of an issue as Spotify claims it to be. Spotify's problem is that it has a bad business model. Even in ideal circumstances they would be losing money.…

Fortunately the issue isn't apparent when the screen is on. That said some of the damage shown does not appear to be related to users carelessness (e.g. using corrosive cleaners), while other damage seems to have been worsened by rubbing or create…

I'm not really sure how people don't get the interface. It literally asks you two questions, then plonks down a load of recommendations in your face. Most of which were assembled by people, I'm surprised by how much music there is that I like, but …

I suspect it's currently absent because it doesn't work with Apple Music's off-line content. (Pretty sure that's encrypted.) That's not to say that it won't return since I can see some scenarios* where Apple Music's library won't suffice, but I co…

Might just throw my hat in here: Using a late 2013 Mac Pro and I still experience wifi death from time to time, I had been running the betas and these did seem to address the problem to a great extent. (Handoff/continuity/airdrop is also vastly more…

Try holding your arm such that the watch points to your face, try it for 30 seconds. You may notice a few things: Your arm isn't very steady: this is because the muscles utilised aren't suited for fine motor skills It's quite difficult/strenuou…

How to not **** up a roll out with this one simple trick! Lobbyists hate them! Don't tell LA!

The images displayed aren't false, indeed they'll exist in three of the four services packaged under Apple Music. (Radio, Connect, Store, but not Stream.)
-
It's still available in the store and through the Radio component, just not on the a la carte service. Although that hardly matters now anyway since 1989 is already past peak.

Meanwhile this doesn't take into account Adobe's massive 2013 hack. I'm still getting spam to that email address.

This is Samsung's M-O, they do this exact same thing with everyone else they've copied. Simply put it's easier to copy and drag on a long court case than it is to actually make a product - if anything it's a business model that exploits the arduous…

You know people used to joke about Google putting a camera in your house with Nest. But here it is, it even includes such helpful features as allowing you to open your cam to public viewing, and a privacy policy that does not forbid google from dat…

Is this a big deal? They can just join 3 months later. Meanwhile it's the industry to present this in the best light for themselves - during that same time period plays can equal sales, in much the same way that Free-Play on iTunes Radio leads to …

It would be impossible for me to enumerate how poorly written Adobe software titles are. The faults are too long to mention but has spawned entire websites dedicated to listing the faults in their software. (such as www.dearadobe.com) I understand …

It's an odd situation, but nearly any metrics you'd consider twitter a success but, because wall street expects twitter to be the next facebook, it's not getting good press. A new CEO doesn't really bode well either, Twitter (like any online servic…
