The regular iPhone just had a design refresh with the 16 models. so a design change was never in the cards. I've never seen Apple revise a product design and then revise it again the following year.

There is no doubting the "cool" factor of the Air--and the pent-up demand for a new iPhone form factor--and those factors alone will likely make it a sellout at launch and for weeks if not months thereafter. (Although highly dependent on the lunatic…

About the 17 Air: "It just looks really cool and I think that's reason enough for this phone." We shall see. I don't deny the cool factor, but if everything said turns out to be true, Apple will essentially be selling a phone with 16e-type specs fo…

For our Grifter-in-Chief who is pulling in millions from corrupt schemes to monetize his Presidency on a daily basis, Cook's measly million is small potatoes--more like one small potato--that didn't get him the exemption for Apple. The far more like…

It's either financial malpractice or stupidity or both for JP Morgan's position to be "not too bothered" by possible effects of tariffs on Apple's business going forward. Are you kidding me? Listen: no one, including his own Treasury Secretary per y…

oberpongo said: Wonder why the Air would not be as thin as a iPad Pro. I'm sure it's about battery life. The M4 iPad Pro's size, even the 11", allows it to fit a sufficiently large battery--for an iPad--in that very thin case: roughly 7,5…

I have to say, these look legit. It will be interesting to hear how Apple has addressed the bending issue in a phone this thin. Cue the YouTube videos destroying iPhone Slims by bending them. Couple of things I noticed: first, the Slim appears to ha…

Trump collected over one-quarter of a billion dollars in donations--$239 million to be exact--just for his inauguration. And here's some context: Obama 1: $53 million Obama 2: $43 million Trump 1: $107 million Biden: $61 million Trump 2: …

Whim of the moment economic "policy" continues unabated. The world is not MAGA and doesn't believe Trump's con man threats, and the world has learned that Trump caves as soon as there's pushback. Late today, Trump began his inevitable fold to China,…

I fully expect a 17e next year and I can't imagine the 16e would stay in the lineup as a lower-priced phone that would cannibalize sales of the more expensive 17e. I think the lineup will remain similar to what we now have, in ascending price order:…

"51% of current users intend to upgrade in the next year." Oh, yeah, very typical iPhone upgrade cycle, half of all current iPhone users get a new one annually. "40% are strongly interested in foldable or thin iPhones." Definitely. And we know …
