How does Apple Music know what songs are in my personal library? "With an Apple Music membership, your entire library lives in iCloud. We compare every track in your collection to the Apple Music library to see if we have a copy. If we do, you can a…

It's going to depend on how it shakes out on Apple Music. If an artist gets on board with it, do you get their entire library, or just what that artist wants you to be able to stream that month? I'm about listening to an entire album, not just wh…

Yet iOS 8.4 beta has root certificates embedded in the OS for every government agency, giving them backdoor access. Smoke and mirrors. Apple is only "warning" the government because Apple doesn't want the flame storm coming once 8.4 goes live and …

I heard this week that some developers have noticed back door root certificates for government agencies in iOS 8.4 beta, which allows governments to break into your phone starting with 8.4. Any news on this? Since Apple has touted encryption and …

While this is nice and all.. Where's the update to Find Friends that shows what businesses are near where your friends are, or a button to "open this location in maps"? Its very irritating looking at Find Friends, and not be able to see what is ar…

Writer failed to point out that she's a Methodist - Christian. Which, Christianity isn't popular in the tech community these days. Cheers to diversity.

HealthKit's problems are not due to 3rd party support lacking, it's due to Apple creating something, then not supporting it themselves. Healthkit on the iPhone should be able to do basic functional math to calculate data when data is put into the …

Only AI's writers are lame enough to not have known this has been playing on prime time for weeks now. It was also on tonight's NCIS. And yesterdays's Castle. And Bones last week. Perhaps if the writer would watch something other than scripted rea…

Feel free to come to America and force a business owner to serve you. We have the 2nd Amendment for a reason.

If they don't like it, they can go somewhere else. Businesses retain the right to refuse service to anyone. They don't have to sell anything to people they don't like. If someone doesn't like that, they are more then welcome to create their own b…

He should read Indiana's state constitution, if he has a problem with it. I'm glad Indiana stood up for the rights of conscience, and is protecting business owner's rights.

Ah! I didn't realize I could do that. Sweet. Just got my Office 365 license a couple weeks ago for my Mac, so it's still a bit new. I have 2013 at work on my PC, which I hit excel bugs all the time in it.

As nice as saving to iCloud is for iOS versions, it still doesn't get my mac unchained from OneDrive with the 2011 software. MS needs to hurry up and get the mac desktop version compatible with the iOS version for cloud functionality.

I'd expect Verizon to introduce something similar this week to follow suit. The FCC will be ruling on Net Neutrality in February, so they have to "appear" to care about customers getting hit with overage data fees before the FCC declares Title II. O…

Hopefully this will tell the music industry to stop giving us produced EDM/hybrid music. If we wanted EDM, we'd buy it. The new pop music (country-pop and mainstream pop) is getting unbearable to listen to. The people that are interested in buying a…

One thing that I've noticed regarding freemium vs paid, is that the freemium games tend to get updates and support more often that games that you pay for and then stop working after an iOS update.

Would be great to see Photos released before the holidays, but everything I've seen shows sometime next year. Having said that, anything with wifi fixes is appreciated.

"Bob Dylan, Dave Grohl, Paul McCartney, Maroon 5 and Max Martin" Really? These are the bands that this data is based on? I'm not sure that's a great representation, since they aren't exactly big sellers in new music. Maroon 5 did have a new recor…
