Apple probably will change the computer icon to the new iMac. On OS 9, they changed the mouse preferences to the ipuck and then to the optical mouse.

It is a very good idea, but you should have the option to have springloaded folders the oldway in OS 9 and, in your case, the new springloaded folders. Then it would bring the best of both worlds into X.

Check out aol.com. AOL.COM.EATMYSHIT.ORG

Yeah, I was hoping to see the spring loading folders in action.

What I am saying, concentricity, is that it does not have to be 10.1.3. The new hardware could possibly have 10.1.2.

Over at the MacNN forums they also say 10.1.3 was released and that its build number is 5Q28.

I think that 10.2 will be the last *major* update before we have to pay. 10.5 or whatever they call it after Jaugur will cost us a full upgrade. When 10.2 come out, X should be at least up to 9 performance or surpassing it. I hope it does, but who k…

Yes, they made OS X to sell hardware, but they were in more of a dire need to get a modern OS out there. It is a combination of the two, like I said. They were in a dire need of a modern OS and they created it also to sell more hardware.

Does a company have to annouce that they are going to have an ad in the Superbowl? Apple could have it under secret wraps and knowone will know it is going to air until they actually see it. How cool would that be to see the new iMac dancing on Nati…

Kingston RAM is really good RAM. I found with other RAM that it did not work properly with my B&W PowerMac. Finally I got some Kingston RAM and it work with no hicup. [ 01-26-2002: Message edited by: Mac_OS_X_Addict ]
