seriously though, I did say "next week" which gives me till Friday. Nothing has made me change my mind about the G5 announcement. Yet. Don't forget, the new iMac was announced when it wasn't actually available. This was because Apple NEEDED to…

[quote] Oh, I forgot my stake. PM G4 800-933-1000DP on 01-22-02 and PB G4 733-866 and iBook 700/800 in Tokyo. How much do you think a PM G4 800 will cost, considering the price of the iMac? Surely the PM line has to significantly faster, hen…

Some of the test boxes that everyone's been talkin about were fetched back this weekend with a message effectively saying 'thanks a lot, job done. We're ready to roll.' These were mostly G5s and overclocked Apollos. Apple and MOTO have kept th…

I'd like to see an iFi A set of cool speakers and an amp which the iPod docks with to form a cool digital hifi. While docked the iPod is charged, can be remotely controlled etc. When you're ready to go just unplug and away you go.

The specs look pretty reasonable to me - except for the 14" LCD. Most people know what is technically feasable at this time, and 1.5Ghz G5s aren't. Expect speed bumped G4s and iBooks, LCD iMacs and maybe a couple of digital lifestyle products.…
