I've always liked the 15" MBP speakers, I have an early 2008 model myself, but am shopping for 2.1 speakers. Are the SoundSticks II still good?

27" LED display along with it?

I really like it, I was starting to get sick of the over-simplistic design of current Apple hardware (the unibodies in particular) and this makes me nostalgic for more modular designs such as the TiBook's.

Who downloads anything from Apple.com?

They'll revise the Mac Pro line and find a way to work some black glass into the new case design, just you wait and see.

I am from the dark ages and am currently unwilling to give up optical media. The second someone makes a 9mm slot-loading BD drive I'm slapping a SATA-to-IDE adapter on it and sticking it in my MacBook Pro.

Oh wow, an Air with an i7? That'd make up for the incredible cost, but I'd rather see more ports and a smaller screen. Turn it into a netbook.

They should make the Air an 11", expand its features, and storm the netbook market with what results.

They do exist. Phew. Okay, but they are rather expensive.

In case anyone was wondering where the OS's OGL support was at now: Here's the program, also.

My early 2008 MacBook Pro features a dual-link DVI out with external resolutions up to 2560 x 1600. Since finding out that they actually downgraded the GPU in subsequent models I wouldn't be surprised if later models lost some of this functionality.

I was wondering, could the OpenGL updates in 10.6.3 help gaming in OS X? Because I looked at my drivers and the 8600M GT does OGL 3.1 in Windows 7 and only 2.1 in Snow Leopard. It's not a terrifically capable GPU to begin with but it played HL2 with…

Basically mine but with something better than an 8600M GT in it. Preferably a Radeon.

All Apple has to do is make a gaming desktop and this could actually go somewhere.
