Another interesting tidbit ... Amazon has rebates on current MBP's that in order to qualify, a purchase must be made by Monday February 18. Will we see new models on the 19th or at the event on the 26th?

Things are lining up nicely that favor a 3G iPhone launch by June. Will Apple release a 32GB 3G iPhone at that time? I think so.

Can somebody say switchers

I look forward to checking these out at my local Apple Store.

My prediction is for 2.474 million Macs sold. Breakdown as follows: 1.565 million portables 909,000 desktops

I wish I would have waited. I just bought an external Lacie D2 Quadra 500GB hard drive a few weeks ago. I could have gotten Time Capsule. Oh well.

Remote disc is a very cool feature. Another great innovation from Apple.

This is really sweet. It's gonna be a hot item. Looking forward to purchasing mine!

We'll know in just a few more hours. No need to get worked up over a mockup. Either way this thing is gonna sell like crazy.

Nice ... these things will sell like hotcakes this holiday season.

Just installed. Things seem fine.

The $100 store credit will filter its way down to iPods and Mac OS X Leopard. The end result will be better unit sales for those two product lines.

I suppose most will either use it towards a new iPod nano or Mac OS X Leopard. So what's the cost to Apple ... lets assume 800,000 early adopters at $100 per adopter that makes it a $80 million concession (at least on paper). We all know that the…

The nano looks really cool. I like the red color.

The student discount is still available but only on prior models.

I'll be picking mine up this weekend. Can't wait. I'm glad I held out ... it was hard to wait a few extra months but it was well worth the wait.

The iPhone price cuts pave the way for a higher capacity iPhone. Who knows, we may see a new model at MacWorld 2008.
