Champion of privacy no more.

I agree with Bill Maher 100%. No matter how laudable Apple’s intentions, there shouldn’t be any back door to user’s iPhones or iCloud accounts. Otherwise Apple’s constant reminders of how much they value privacy to the utmost rings hollow.

Apple constantly boasts about user privacy and then acknowledges access to one’s iCloud pictures? There shouldn’t be any back door. Period. Either you believe in privacy or you don’t.
-
No matter how laudable Apple‘s motives may be, this is a slippery slope that should definitely be reconsidered. Privacy, which Apple consistently prides itself in and boasts about, shouldn’t have any back door exceptions.

With the exception of the original 2007 iPhone which I kept, I buy a new Apple iPhone model every year, trading in the previous year’s model. So far, I’m not overly impressed with iPhone 13’s specs, but Gazelle will be hearing from me again this fal…

Bulky is the primary reason that I’m sticking with Apple’s design.

Apple prides itself on safeguarding user privacy. Once you open the door for any exception, no matter how laudable, you begin a slippery slope that will make the word privacy hollow. This is a vacuous decision by Apple that needs to be reconsidered.…

If the door is even slightly ajar, others will find a way to enter with or without Apple’s consent.

For a company like Apple which is so fervent about privacy rights, it’s both disconcerting and alarming that they’d carve out any exception regardless of how righteous or noble the cause.

As I’ve done every year beginning in 2007, I’ll be getting the top end model, but am especially hoping the 2022 top of the line model is a flip phone. My pants pockets will thank Apple.

Sounds like a wonderful film which I would have enjoyed looking forward to, but their decision about filming in Georgia makes it a picture I’ll now skip.

Apple Watch 6- Running 7.6-still no update beyond that.

Keeping Paramount+. Bye bye Showtime.

I bought it and love it.

After the update, my iPhone froze. Had to do a hard reset to get it working again.

IPhone 12 Pro Max + Nomad’s Rugged Case + Apple’s MagSafe Battery Pack = Perfect together.
