I hope the near future includes a 30 or 80 gig iphone because 8gig isn't enough to do all the great things I'd want to do with this phone. It's nearly twice the price of the 80 gig ipod and only a tenth of the storage space. I was really hoping to u…

For starters we won't know until tomorrow if the iTV will be strictly a streaming product. Iger already mentioned a hard drive and he's not the type of guy I'd expect to hear flinging around words like that unless he knew something. Then again Apple…

I wish Sony would release Vegas for Mac.I tried Final Cut Pro but didn't like it at all. Wasn't user friendly like most Mac apps are. Premiere and FCP share the same kind of inferface, as they were designed by the same person. So basically it's more…

See I remember Steve years ago mentioning he doesn't think browsing the internet on anything but a full blown computer was worthwhile. This was in reference to internet appliances at the time but I think it applies more to cell phones as they are ev…

The big question is, do you guys think it will be a flip[ phone or candybar style? Part of me wants to say flip phone just so it separates itself from the rest of the ipod line and to protect the screen since Apple got so much crap out that. Because…

I don't think Apple will release a smartphone. That's just some peoples best wishes. It's not their style. I just can't see them releasing a phone with a gazilion little buttons all over it. I don't think they really care about the phone market. Wha…

I sure hope so. But honestly I don't care if it's widescreen. I can just hold the current screen closer to my face. I just want one in a second gen nano style body that won't scratch they way my current one is all scratched to hell. Something in a 1…

Thanks guys for your help. That was in fact the case. When I hooked the DVD-Drive up to an old LaCie firewire/IDE interface I had, the disc booted and installed just fine.

I could imagine something that's basically a black nano but a little bit thicker. On one side it looks exactly like the nano and on the other side it has the same screen but instead of a click wheel there is a keypad. So you just flip the thing over…

I figured it out. The firmware got messed up when trying to install 10.4. I So I went back down to OS9 using and external monitor, then upgraded to 9.1 and then installed the imacs latest firmware and that fixed the problem. Now I'm installing 10.4.

Also I've found that sometimes the VGA output in the back works with an external monitor even when the interal monitor doesn't. Sometimes when I restart the system the intro sound is really fizzly sounding and nothing happens after.

Does Apple charge tax when you buy from their online store?

The games and letter showing are availabe on the 5G as well. The only software function the 5G doesn't have is the search feature.

zune zune zune yeah that was lame. But really I have no idea. It it takes a while for my iPod to load my entire library. I'm not sure how long since I've only done it maybe twice in the 10 months I've owned my iPod. Maybe it's becasue iTunes is…

AVCHD is the better consumer format. It supports both 30p and 24p and 1080p natively. It is more compressed then HDV, but then no one really wanted to take HDV seriously to begin with either. Over time software gets better and the video compression …
