I'm sorry but the low end 21.5 inch iMac should come with 512 MB of VRAM as the base configuration. Only 256 MB of VRAM is so 2007.

"Wolf has long referred to Apple's retail stores as the "fourth leg of the stool" in Apple's business model." Mac, iPhone, iPod, iPad, Apple TV, iTunes store, retail stores - sounds like we need a second stool.

All my friends who have one say that they get fewer dropped calls vs. the 3G and 3GS.

Very bad, Apple. Very bad, indeed.

Well at least they didn't completely copy the iPhone GUI like some other phones.

I still say a new iPad with a front-facing camera is coming in November.

That lower price tells me that Apple's pricing pressure with iWork ($79) is starting to scare Mafia$oft. In the interest of fairness, I will say that the Mac version of Office has really improved over that last couple of years. Now, I don't puk…

"The suit names Accstation, Boxware Corporation, Crazyondigital, Eforcity Corporation, Everydaysource, Itrimming, and United Integral" Isn't Itrimming an escort service company?

My thoughts: The key piece to the job posting has to be the focus on the internet. With everything going mobile, Apple's increased focus on location-based services, and their recent acquisition of that company that was creating a "personal assista…

"Lookout also discovered that 14 percent of the surveyed free applications available for Apple's iPhone have the capability to access a user's contact data." BUT, the big difference is that the app can't (if Apple is doing their job, that is) do…

"In some cases, he noted, the bars actually rose when the left-hand seam between antennas was deliberately touched." That's only because he grew up next to Three Mile Island.

Does anyone know if 5.0.1 has the same version of WebKit as 5.0?

I think this will be the "mystery" extra app in iLife 11. It will be complementary to iWeb.

"It continued: 'The person said the problems were longstanding but had been exposed by the design of the iPhone 4.'" "It continued"? That must mean the source is Ina Fried.

A recall is different from telling customers, "If you are having a problem, bring it in to one of our stores and we will apply a simple fix."

I think the in-store fix with an internal insulator makes most sense for Apple. Not every person will bring their phone in for the fix and a total recall would likely get more people to participate. Also, giving out bumpers seems cheap and cheesy …

I still think Apple is going to release a new version of the iPad - with a front-facing camera for FaceTime - this fall in time for Christmas. Otherwise, you cannot explain Steve Jobs claim of "10's of millions of FaceTime devices by 2011" during t…

There needs to be a court to moderate these bogus suits and get them thrown out before they even see the light of the day. The only winner in a class action lawsuit is the law firm that files it. The get 40% of the total settlement.
