Apple Pay is a feature of the Apple ecosystem and not product or service onto itself at the moment. Apple wouldn't need to make any revenue at it as long as it drove users to its products all would be good.

Why do we even need these announcements? Every retailer should support NFC type payments. There really just needs rot be a "Shame" List of those that don't support it or deliberately block a particular flavor like Apple Pay.
