They do make more money off subscriptions for the same reason that cell phones make more money off subscriptions than charging by the minute. Most people won't use up their allotment, and the few that do won't bring up the average enough to matter.

I have a 14" iBook and the display seems fine to me from most angles.

Another way to do it is to move the Demo Office to the Trash bin and then empty the trash. If you don't empty the trash, it'll still run the stupid thing. After you empty the trash, all new files will open with the full Office install.

I just switched from windows to Macs a couple months ago. I so fell in love with my iBook that i bought an iMac to go with it. I gave my windows PC away. Switch.
