How about a miniature Powermac? Smaller casing (same, but miniturized), single G5 processor, DDR2 memory (up to 4 gb).

Apple could offer a 15" with iSight, a 15" without iSight, a 17" with iSight, and a 17" without iSight. No need for BTO options, having two models of each makes more sense to me. -DG

According to Apple's iPod spec page, the new 30gb iPod can play 2 hours of video, and the ne 60gb can play 3 hours. Not exactly great battery life. DG

I have a nano, and do not regret it. The screen is small, but it's very easy to read. If all you're concerned about is photos and videos, then get the bigger iPod. For me, music is the most important thing. DG

Well, if Apple did make it firewire compatible, it would be thicker and heavier. So, maybe it's for the best.\
