It’s not just about photos and videos - I have 145GB of MP3 files and 72GB of photos/videos on my iPhone. Before anyone says “why don’t you stream your audio” it’s because coverage is rubbish where I live and much of the audio is ripped from previo…

Take into account the multiple IT failures by the NHS and its obvious that any assurances given about data security have to be treated with extreme scepticism. So you have to assume that any location data held by the NHS will be either hacked or mis…

What really needs a major UI overhaul is Messages in macOS. It’s almost useless as there’s no text along with the picture so you have almost guess which message thread to open when you’re looking for a particular person.

Apple need to take a look at the whole Big Sur update process, so far every update on my MacBook Air has stalled during the download and required a restart to complete the download before the install can take place.

Yet another example of UK NHS IT not being properly tested - people change their phones throughout the year not only when a new model is released!

CheeseFreeze said: I wonder if you’ll be able to disable 5G and stick with 4G. At this time, I don’t care or need it, and I rather have a bit more battery left at the end of the day. Most of the UK doesn’t have 5G coverage (nowhere I vis…

Nokia did a 4 for 1 stock split shortly before they crashed and burned, but I don’t expect Apple to follow that precedent!

Here in the UK unless you live in or near a major city there is no 5G, so for most of us 5G is irrelevant.

I hope beta 5 is less power hungry, my MacBook Air has much shorter battery life and the cooling fan runs a lot more on beta 4.

Better make sure Apple disable it in France as possession of a device that warns of speed cameras is illegal, and in theory can lead to the device being confiscated by the Gendarmes.

Using Bluetooth is never going to be able to tell if two people are separated by a pane of glass or even a partition wall, so false positives are almost guaranteed - leading to worried people and lack of trust in the system.

It is very difficult to get quality news nowadays. Even BBC, if you follow for a while, you'll notice that they have their own biases and the news is ever so slightly slanted. I stopped believing the BBC when they so obviously had a strong cl…

Isn’t there a fundamental flaw in all these apps? I can be inches away from someone who is Covid-19 positive but the other side of a wall, a window, etc. but Bluetooth will still “see” their device. But I will not exposed to any risk at all - so the…
