my computer does the exact same thing and it is really annoying.

when i converted the AVI to mpeg4, the movie went from 700mb to 880mbs. The quality of the mpeg is also much worse. Anyone know why im having this problem and what i should do to fix it (im using DivX Converter)

apple often does that, where they update a product a small amount before a large "remastered" upgrade. It just feels like the Apple thing to do, coming out with a new iPod in October
