I've been using 1P since version 2. This is a complete downgrade, 1P6 was the best version.I will wait a year until my subscription is up and then look to move to… I don't know, I guess sticky notes.

Basically, I think that this is all a ploy, they don't really care about giving users "choice" in fact they want to take away choice by being able to side-load "back doors" into iOS. Call me crazy or paranoid, but just watch, this is what will happe…

I totally think that this was an innovative way to force a back door into the OS without actually asking for one. Once alternate stores are available there is nothing to stop someone to install spyware and other apps to get their abilities they want…
