Back when I had a 15" macbook pro I upgraded it to a 7200rpm hard drive. I found a video of someone doing it. It wasn't too difficult, but you did have to take apart the computer, so if you aren't comfortable with that then I wouldn't recommend it. …

I have a black macbook and a 17" MBP. Also my girlfriend has a black macbook. No problems with any of them. To sum it up: Yes you should get a mac, they just work right.

I just received my two, they work great.

I have always used RAMJET without any problems.

Good stuff, I ordered two, hopefully they ship sooner than 3 -5 as most apple products do.

I have a black macbook and love it. The extra $ for black is just that, for black. If you have the money and like the look then go for it. You can easily upgrade the hard drive, but obviously your new hard drive / ram won't be covered under apple…

Thank god, I have been wanting an apple style two button mouse .

Good job! It is a terrible feeling until you finally get it back on .

Does it fall into the range of batteries that were having problem? I was having a similar problem with an old powerbook and apple replaced the battery. Go into System Profiler and look at the battery information.
