Heck the computer, I wish someone would sell a keyboard that look like that.

I just thought the file size was be smaller along the way. Would a program like mpeg-stream do the trick for him?
-
Alright, I guess I was wrong, I thought MPEG2 bitrate affected the file size.

It will degrade the quality, but if it doesn't fit on a single layer DVD and he needs it to then he doesn't have a choice.

I'm on my laptop right now and don't an mp4 to test with, I will be home in a couple hours and reply then if someone else doesn't. Encode it in h.264, leave the bit the same, then try it in iDVD. Did the menu asset removal instructions work? -…

You have an MP4 already that is too big, export as an mp4, but with a lower bitrate.
-
Why not just make it in an html editor or flash?

Try popping the keyboard (look at the manual under the ram replacement instructions). I used to have an iBook and had that problem the first time I reassembled it, I just adjusted the cable under the ram panel and it was fixed.

You could easily do it with Quicktime Pro. Open the movie, go to FILE>EXPORT. Select your export setting from there. Get the current information of your file, and model the export on that. If you have DVD Studio Pro it would be real easy. I…

Those aren't problems, those are beta problems with boot camp. I don't see why a school would be running windows on an iMac anyways?

I had a dual 2 and now I have a Quad and havn't had that problem. *knock on wood*

Do you have a menu selected in iDVD? That takes up extra space. (plus a long time to render)

Doing the first method listed (mactheripper and mpegstream) the file was 4.64GB. Considering the time this will take, it is possible I won't come close to putting all the movies on the server. In a year if I need more space I can get it. I mig…

I'm not concerned about the space, I can get more if I need it. I encoded one as MPEG2 and it worked great and was sent to the Tivo without a problem. Well, no really actually. One of my tivo is the new ones with the built in nic's and it it plug…

Like I said, I haven't had those problems at all. The only thing I don't like is that is shows oils/grease. I have a macbookpro and macbook. I usually wash my hand before using the mbp, but not the MB. I'm on the computer all day, I don't get dirty.…

I ordered mine the day it was released and have been using it since. I have had no problem with the trackpad. The only problem (not bad at all though) is the squeeky hinge. Like I said, not loud, not all the time, but not perfect.

You don't have to concert to a format other than mpeg 2. If you edit the configurations file in termal of the lastest tivo desktop software for mac, you can enable to serve mpeg2 content from the system the tivo server is running on. When you say…

Several years ago d-link was the low end, but so was netgear. Now netgear surpasses linksys products in many wants. Cisco is the industry standard for business, their consumer brand is linksys. Stick with them.

Lol, that is really true. The red light inside the tower comes on, then it sounds like a 747 for a minute, then you wait about 10 seconds, then it comes on. The benefit is, you can have 20 applications up and running perfectly when it wakes up .
